Move over Lime Crime, the original aquarium glitter makeup brushes are here! Jess, the owner of Brushicorn, is the original creator of this glistening gorgeous! The Alaskan born unicorn queen first created the Brushicorn goodness for herself after admiring the lava lamps at her job at Home Depot - not kidding. Life happened, and the Brushicorns were sadly put on hold for a year when Jess's fiance was diagnosed with a brain tumor - which had these brushes put off for a good year. After recovering completely, in early 2016 Jess started selling her Brushicorn's on Etsy. Soon after the brushes gained more recognition and the rest is history!
Jess assembles these makeup brushes by hand - one by one - in a small apartment in California. Each Brushicorn is assembles with lots of love, and you guessed it... MAGIC! As you doll yourself up you can watch these brushes sparkle, spin, and wink at you. All while still applying your flawless makeup.
Each Brushicorn handle is made using industrial grade polyethylene, with all glitter sealed inside with an oil based fluid - so you don't have to worry about the liquid evaporating. The bristles of the brush is made synthetic nylon fibers. The Unicorns and Jess agreed that the Brushicorns should be cruelty-free!

I got the lucky chance to try out one of these bad babies for myself, and I have to conclude that I'm under the glittery spell! The handle is highly durable and strong, yet the brushes nice and soft. I can easily tell that this brush is created with the best quality synthetic fibers I've come to known, and not the shiny prickles that other synthetic makeup brushes might have. I have experienced no shedding at all! I do have to admit, having the fan Brushicorn to apply highlighter will make application twice as long, but that's mainly because the magic seeps into your body and gets you addicted.
