HAIR EXTENSION HELL...and heaven.

We all have seen the struggle. We all have sifted through hundreds of YouTube videos. Are some of these hair extensions brands worth it, or are these sponsored hair guru's faking it. One thing is for sure, I had to get to the bottom of it. Here is my brutally honest hair extension review. The best and worst hair extension brands.

While going through these video reviews I've seen, I can tell you almost every single one of these gurus review these extensions right when they take them out of the box. If you know me, time is key. You cannot review something like extensions after having then for just 1 day or even a week.

I sifted through to the unsponsored reviews, I sifted through some fake "honesty", and most of all - I sifted through those pesky affiliate codes. Now is time for my BRUTALLY honest review of multiple hair extension brands I've tried.

A little background on my hair extension history. I've been wearing hair extensions for almost 10 years now. I've been dying hair for longer than I've worn extensions.

I ALWAYS recommend checking SiteJabber and Complaints Board for honest reviews!

VPFASHION

Probably one of the most talked about brands of extensions especially through the colorful hair community. In mid 2016 I do have to admit I became an ambassador for this brand, but that will NOT affect my brutally honest review and experience with this company.

This brand has hundreds if not thousands of their affiliates and brand ambassadors promoting this hair line. As a used-to-be affiliate myself, I can tell you that every time one of our codes was used we were getting 10% of the sale. I feel like many influencers, although claim they aren't about the money, will petal push these extensions for the little pay.

To explain these extensions more. They usually come in a set of 7 pieces (one 4 clip weft, two 3 clip, two 2 clip, and two 1 clip pieces). I completely feel like for a full head of hair, you'd need 2 sets of these extensions because quite frankly there aren't enough clips. Also, I'm a biased despised person of one clip extension pieces - I think it's a complete waste. This hair tends to get thinner towards the end, and hair very little shedding which I don't feel a complaint about. Lastly for their physical first appearance, this brands consideration of blonde is almost a pale mustard yellow color.

These extensions do ship from China and upon looking into trademark I found that they're owned by the the Chinese company Nanjing Walland Technology. The same company owns RPGshow, MyFirstWig, and HerGivenHair. This means that VPfashion is NOT a United States based company so they claim to be, as well as that you can order from these other companies they own and get the same products across each website. View proof of these brands owned by a Chinese wholesale company HERE.

First out of package photo. 22" 220g VPfashion hair extensions.

I have tried both the mixdyeable and and human hair extensions from this brand. To be brutally honest, even being sponsored as an artist - these extensions are complete shit. I've had to e-mail this representitive multiple ties about the extensions being frizzy, looking fried, and even the clips getting rusted. Each time I did claim something was wrong, they would give me excuse after excuse on how I could "better care for my extensions".

After 1 wash with purple toning shampoo. A little frizzy, about half an inch of dead ends (which I did cut off), and overall extremely lighter)

I have to admit, the Mix Dyeable hair extensions would be good for the price if you are somebody who frequently dyes their hair. Since the price is about 50% cheaper than normal human hair extensions - a frequent dye hard fan would possibly love that these can take about 3 dye jobs before they fall to shit.

2nd dye with vegan hair color. At this point I've cut off about 2 inches of the hairs dead ends. The hair is still a little frizzy as expected. At this point, one of the hair extensions clips has broke but they ship their extensions with extra clips in case that happens - so all was alright for me.

I stopped wearing these hair extensions a little after this dye because after a few heat styling sessions the hair felt way too frizzy and unlike my real hair to continue wearing them. Etc.. My real hair texture and the extension texture just didn't mix.

MINIHOUSE8888

I'd have to say amongst the colorful hair community, Minihouse8888 comes close in competition for VPfashion. This brand doesn't have excessive popularity, which makes me question why because at least they're better than VPfashion.

Appearance explanation time! The best plus side to this brand I feel is that they offer sets up to 10 wefts unlike many others that offer 7 or 8 (The 10 piece set includes two 4 clip, two 3 clip, two 2 clip, and four one clip wefts). Upon unboxing - these extensions are extremely a fat colored yellow. They have little to medium shedding but stay thick from clip to tip.

These extensions as well are shipped from China although it's "owner" is based in claims it is based in Florida. I also have found out that shopping the Minihouse8888 Ebay page and 50% cheaper than buying on their actual website. I also find that LuxyHair ships their products in the same exact style box (just different color) and they seem to have the same hair extensions sets as Minihouse - so it's likely the same manufactured hair extensions just sold by different companies).

I have 2 sets of Minihouse8888 extensions. The top extensions have already been toned and dyed once to match my hair and the bottom is right out of the box.

These extensions seem to tone and dye extremely well. They have significant less frizz then VPfashion, and barely any of the ends had to be cut off.

I have noticed that these extensions will mat and tangle very easily throughout wear so they so need constant upkeep and brushing. When I store these back in its box I like to braid the extensions to keep them from tangling and getting any frizz.

My final thoughts and honest review for Minihouse8888 would be that these are an okay choice for anybody who likes to dye their hair and wear extensions not everyday - but frequently. I received these extensions before ever trying VPfashion and noticed the superior quality. These extensions are still alive and sitting in their box so they have lasted over a year (but I have not worn these extensions but probably 100 days total throughout my time having them).

MILK+BLUSH

Previously known as DirtyLooks, I feel Milk+Blush doesn't get the recognition it really deserves. This brand has a wide variety of color choices and collections. They as well carry DIY kits that include extensions and hair dye or extensions and bleach which is something pretty much NO other company does. Milk+Blush as well ships their extensions with a booklet that contains instructions and such on how and where to clip the extensions in, how to dye the extensions (and they even list safe dyes for their extensions), and the booklet even contains how to care for them such as styling, brushing, and heat guidelines.

Appearance wise, these extensions tend to be true to the color swatches on their website. These come in a classic sex with 10 pieces (one QUAD wefted 4 clip, two 3 clip pieces, four 2 clip pieces, and two 1 clip pieces) Through my lifetime so far I have tried 3 sets of theirs and continue to go back as well as recommend them for clients. The extensions stay thick and do not shed pretty much AT ALL.

Milk+Blush is shipped from the United Kingdom, which is a change from all these Chinese companies. They seem to have extremely unique sets and colors - so I've come to the conclusion that these extensions are pretty much one of a kind and not cheap. These extensions are perfect for anybody with a thick head of hair due to their amount of pieces and ability to spread out and blend.

Photo via Pinterest. As you can see these extensions look extremely healthy and beautiful. As I can't find photos on file of my sets - I can tell you they look exactly like this.

LIBERTY HAIR EXTENSIONS
(Expect a review coming for this set shortly)

My most recent find and hair extension set I've tried is from Liberty Hair Extensions. This brand is extremely new, if not JUST RELEASED. They carry a nice variety of colors, and up to 22" 250g extremely thick hair.

The looks of these extensions is true to color. These have been the ONLY set of extensions I've received that perfectly matched my blonde "almost white" hair. They come in a set of 8 pieces (two 4 clip pieces, two 3 clip pieces, and four 1 clip pieces). These extensions have has ZERO shedding, they are really true to color, silky smooth, and overall just beautiful.

This brand is based in the United Kingdom as well as shipped from the UK. With a wide variety color and the ability to actually match an extremely blonde color - these extensions will get the full 5 stars from me.

FINAL RANKING

1. Liberty Hair Extension | Milk+Blush
2. Minihouse8888
3. VPfashion

Please note I have not tried Bellami or any other brands than these extensions. This article is subject to update and add more brands as I try and personally experience them.

Urban Decay is releasing SEX PROOF Mascara?!

Coming this September, Urban Decay is releasing something big. Something sexy. Something that'll cause major trouble. In this little holographic box, I give you, Urban Decay's new Troublemaker mascara.

The Troublemaker mascara is said to give you not only 1, but 13.7 TIMES the lash volume. Wit a failsafe formula that works every time, and a custom brush that lengthens and volumizes as it sepertes the lashes - this mascara really can't do no wrong. In fact, Urban Decay gives you it's complete trust when they tell you it's SEX PROOF.

The Formula consists of two different types of black pigments which give the mascara and intensity that's blacker than my soul - and trust me - that's pretty black. The mascara contains a combination of hollow silica and ultralight fibers that volumize your lashes without the heavyweight feeling. Best part yet, this Troublemaker is infused with Vitamin E to nourish and condition your lashes. No flaking, smearing, or smudging.

As pictured above, the tube has a unique prismatic finish - nothing like ever seen before.

I got a lucky chance to receive this product as a sample before release to test out - and let me say I am NOT disappointed. I've tried this mascara while around the house, as well as on a hot Summer day. I was thoroughly impressed by how light this mascara felt even though it almost quadrupled the volume of my lashes - let me remind you I have almost INVISIBLE wispy blonde lashes.

I have to say, I APPROVE OF THIS MASCARA.

THE NEW KAT VON D BEAUTY SAINT AND SINNER PERFUMES

As many people know, Kat Von D has decided to resurrect her signature Saint & Sinner fragrances from years and years ago - and it has everybody freaking out! I know I'm a little late to this article for the release, but it was something I really wanted to research on and try out for myself. Thanks to Sephora for providing a couple samples with the Saint Everlasting Liquid Lipstick bundle I've recently gotten, and of course the wonderful opportunity from Influenster of their Saint & Sinner VoxBox for even a little bit bigger samples of this delight.

When the Kat Von D fragrances released initially for the first time it definitely became a cult favorite amongst the beauty and fragrance world. It was only a matter of time before before the signature fragrances made a comeback in their brand new nature. Kat has completely redesigned the bottles into a elegant gothic victorian manner along with updating the scents to smell even better.

SAINT

Curated to show the softer side of Kat, this fragrance with the scent of of jasmine, caramel, sandalwood, and tiare flower was created to evoke the romantic and sweeter side of Kat Von D.

SINNER

The fragrance that Kat claims herself makes her "want to take on the world" is created with a more spicy side consisting of the scents plum, vetiver, and cinnamon.

Also to claim, right before the perfumes made their debut Kat Von D celebrated 10 years of sobriety on July 7th, 2017. Congrats Kat!

As said, I am thankful to have tried both perfumes out myself through samples and they are both a personal favorite. I don't know what I'll do when I run out!

Have you tired either of the Saint and Sinner perfumes?

LIPSTICK JUNKIE SUBSCRIPTION BOX

"BE BOLD. BE DARING. WEAR LIPSTICK"
- Lipstick Junkie

Ever wanted your monthly dose of lippies? Now you can get your fix! Lipstick Junkie is a lipstick and lip care subscription box. Each monthly box ships out with 4-5 full sized lip products from liquid lip stick to lip scrubs! Of course, I had the lovely opportunity to try out a month of the Lipstick Junkie box which was filled with surprises!

Inside my June Lipstick Junkie box was a slew of lipsticks to kick off the Summer right.

Keep your lips nice and hydrated with the Kiss Me Honey organic lip balm in Strawberry! This lip balm has many antioxidants and anti-aging vitamins to been your lips smooth and moisturized. I'd like to keep this in my purse for those days at the beach. Only down side to this is that it does not taste like strawberries, but a very strong beeswax taste.

I also received the Makeup Revolution matte lipstick which is one of my favorite affordable brands! I can tell you now, this is what I would get when starting out in makeup as the formula is GORGEOUS! Possible my favorite product in the box with no complaints.

In the box as well was a lip pot by Skull Sugar Cosmetics in Pretty Bitch. How will I put this on though? Without a problem because Lipstick Junkie Box included the ELF retractable lip brush. Don't they just love making things easier? This isn't a rag on the box, but this felt kind of like children's makeup. Not only that, but with the pot saying it's "pigment-rich, high-impact color" I really couldn't see much of a tint when applied.

Lastly, we have the Oh My Lola lipstick which is a fairly new indie brand! The formula is very smooth, and can I mention for some reason this lipstick smells good to me? I've followed this brand on Instagram for a long time and I see them like my posts a lot - so knowing they also interact with people is a plus.

My final conclusions for the Lipstick Junkie subscription box for June the PRODUCTS would have to be a 3.5/5 stars. I love the diversity of colors and brands you receive in the box. Also may I add the packaging is gorgeous! My feelings for a lipstick box though would be to at least have one liquid product in the box. That's just a personal preference for myself because I swear by liquid to matte or liquid lipsticks. Another personal preference of mine is that I rarely ever use gloss, so it was a downside for me.

For the box itself I would like to give it a 5/5. Seeing past boxes and future boxes, I have seen products I would've loved to try. Boxes I've seen in and out through the past few months were always great boxes, I just feel like my picky preference can get in the way of things. Being one of the first indie brand boxes nether the less indie brand lipstick boxes, I could see myself subscribing for a long time.

THE ORIGINAL AQUARIUM BRUSHES ARE HERE, AND THEY'RE AMAZING!

Clicking any highlighted text with take you straight to Brushicorn's website!

Move over Lime Crime, the original aquarium glitter makeup brushes are here! Jess, the owner of Brushicorn, is the original creator of this glistening gorgeous! The Alaskan born unicorn queen first created the Brushicorn goodness for herself after admiring the lava lamps at her job at Home Depot - not kidding. Life happened, and the Brushicorns were sadly put on hold for a year when Jess's fiance was diagnosed with a brain tumor - which had these brushes put off for a good year. After recovering completely, in early 2016 Jess started selling her Brushicorn's on Etsy. Soon after the brushes gained more recognition and the rest is history!

Jess assembles these makeup brushes by hand - one by one - in a small apartment in California. Each Brushicorn is assembles with lots of love, and you guessed it... MAGIC! As you doll yourself up you can watch these brushes sparkle, spin, and wink at you. All while still applying your flawless makeup.

Each Brushicorn handle is made using industrial grade polyethylene, with all glitter sealed inside with an oil based fluid - so you don't have to worry about the liquid evaporating. The bristles of the brush is made synthetic nylon fibers. The Unicorns and Jess agreed that the Brushicorns should be cruelty-free!

Brushicorn's pegasus friends fly near and far all over the world including PO and APO boxes. Get your Brushicorn now!

I got the lucky chance to try out one of these bad babies for myself, and I have to conclude that I'm under the glittery spell! The handle is highly durable and strong, yet the brushes nice and soft. I can easily tell that this brush is created with the best quality synthetic fibers I've come to known, and not the shiny prickles that other synthetic makeup brushes might have. I have experienced no shedding at all! I do have to admit, having the fan Brushicorn to apply highlighter will make application twice as long, but that's mainly because the magic seeps into your body and gets you addicted.

A closer look at the magic!

Coming 6/27 is a kabuki face set of Brushicorn's to leave you completely in awe! Get the stipple, angled stipple, round powder, angled round, and chisel brush for only $89 orig. $135+ .

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF BAD IMPRESSIONS

This past Memorial Day I decided that it would be nice to try products from brands I'd never normally buy from. These brands fall under those who have had scandals, bad customer service, bad products, or overall anything negative in their business lifetime. I made a simple challenge for myself.

  1. I can only buy from brands I've NEVER bought from before.
  2. I can only buy from brands that have a bad reputation (ex. involved in scandals, etc...).
  3. I can only buy from brands that are having a sale.
  4. I have a set limit to how much I can spend ($70).
  5. I can only buy with brands that allow PayPal.

LIME CRIME BACKGROUND INFO:

May 31, 2017 12:30pm tracking number states "Status Unavailable"
June 1, 2017 1:00am tracking number finally works
June 5. 2017 order is delivered

During my time of ordering and waiting to receive my items I saw many comments on the Lime Crime Instagram stating that Lime Crime was changing the prices of the items as people were on their website and checking out. I also witnessed myself that days after I placed my order that the bundles were going up in price throughout the sale.

JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS BACKGROUND INFO:

Shipping and tracking confirmation received June 6, 2017 11:30am
June 12, 2017 order is delivered

Also note that on May 28, 2017 I made another order from Jeffree Star Cosmetics for a friend as a graduation gift. I ordered 2 Lip Ammunitions in Dreamhouse and Grandaddy Purp for $18 total. Her order shipped on May 31st, and she received her package on June 5, 2017. Everything arrived in complete and perfect condition.

During my waiting period for my order to process and ship I witnessed hundreds of comment complaints on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Instagram page. People who ordered days after the sale started were receiving their orders before people who ordered on the 27th even processed. I can back this up from personal experience as the order I made for my friend a full day later was shipped and delivered before my order even moved. Many comments were as well made on the JCS Instagram about those who paid shipping were and still are to this day waiting for their shipping refund as promised on Jeffree Star's Twitter. I've also seen complaints of people receiving products broken as well as people not getting a response from customer service.

MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS

LIME CRIME FIRST IMPRESSIONS + REVIEW:

Upon receiving my Lime Crime order I took the contents out of the package. I was able to notice that a few of the lipsticks were significantly lighter in weight than the other ones by just taking them out of the box. When I went through opening my Lime Crime Velvetines I was able to see that some of the lipsticks had product leaking out of their tubes. After going through I was able to determine that out of 15 of the lipsticks I bought, 4 of them were half empty (Alien, Cement, Thistle, and Zenon). Also, there was a strong smell of Play-Doh throughout many of the tubes. I sent an e-mail to Lime Crime customer service and waited 3 days with no response, so I did what everybody else was doing and left a comment on their Instagram. Not even minutes later the person behind the LC Instagram suggested me that using their online live customer service would work better. I went and talked to a representative who was very understanding of the problem and stated she could resend the shades and since 1 of them was out of stock I could just get a refund. I ended up getting a refund for the Cement lipstick. After waiting another week I got the replacements package from Lime Crime but sadly opened the box to find Alien and Thistle. If you're wondering why sadly, where's my Zenon replacement? As of right now, I still have not received my replacement for Zenon. I will be lucky if I possibly ever see it.

I swatched the Velvetines on the back of my hand for 5 hours to make sure I wouldn't have any allergic reaction the them. I determined through this that the Metallic Velvetines, expecially the half empty Zenon I already had almost was like gold pigment, glitter, and a lipstick base. The gold glitter from the hand swatch was spreading all over my hand. I as well determined the Diamond Crusher I got in the Dreamgirls bundle was just oil and glitter. After the Diamond Crusher had dried on my hand I was able to just blow on my hand and the whole swatch came off. After that, I decided to wear Squash for the day. The formula being very watery right out of the tube surprisingly dried down matte within 30 seconds. This color lasted until dinner where the meal I ate completely took the lipstick off my lips. That night, I decided to switch out onto trying the Mercury Metallic Velvetine which I have to say may be my favorite out of them all. Again, formula and everything was outstanding for this color. I loved everything about it.

My final thoughts on Lime Crime is that if they ever had another sale I'd definitely want to try out some more of what they have to offer. I don't think I'd ever pay full price for any of the products.

JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS FIRST IMPRESSIONS + REVIEW:

This review is a bit hard for me the wrench out of my heart due to how I'm almost daily hearing a new scandal about Jeffree Star or his brand. I was one of the people getting impatient about the shipping time. Seeing people who placed their orders days after me receiving their stuff before mine even processed, I have to admit that made me upset. Knowing that items in these people's orders were some of the same things I ordered and they were getting theirs before mine even processed was beyond me. I figured since I placed my order first, a rather small order at that, that mine should be shipping quickly and as one of the firsts to go out. I got my items I ordered and thank god they were perfectly okay. I've heard too many bad things about these orders while I was waiting along with the shipping problem it had me worried so bad to almost cancel the order.

I examined everything carefully and did some swatches on my arm. The Beauty Killer palette is gorgeous and had great pigment in some of the shades, but a couple of them were a miss. A couple specs from the Black Rainbow shadow were in the Princess shadow which saddened me a bit but not so much to complain damaged or get a refund. The Peach Goddess skin frost was super super gorgeous and amazingly pigmented, I have absolutely no criticism here. My Ice Cold however, looked to have more of a yellow tint in the pan. When swatching it I found out that with even the lightest touch I was getting some clumps of pigment. I want to exclaim though that the swatch actually ended up lighter than how the highlighter looked in the pan. I can't really express if it's the exact white or not I've seen swatched online, but it's pretty dang close. Lastly, I leave off with the Grandaddy Purp Lip Ammunition. A total miss...I mean mess. I don't know if the formula is the same throughout all Lip Ammunition or not but I HATE IT. It's way too oily, sticky, and messy. The swiftest breeze could smudge this lipstick. I was getting purple everywhere on everything.

I have to as well say for my final thoughts on Jeffree Star Cosmetics is that for this brand as well; I wouldn't pay full price ever. I'd wait until a sale to but any of these products. If I ever got around to trying the Velour Liquid Lipstick sometime and like them, those would possibly be the only thing I'd think about paying full price for. Until then, sticking to hounding out the sales only.

You may be asking why these brands aren't in this review, and here's why they didn't make my criteria list.

Morphe Brushes - They did not have a Memorial Day Sale
Kylie Cosmetics - They do not accept PayPal

*DISCLAIMER: IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT FROM LIME CRIME PLEASE TAKE THE WANDS AND SCRAPE THE SIDES OF THE TUBES. THIS WILL BETTER HELP DETERMINE IF YOURS CAME HALF EMPTY OR NOT*

This universal, translucent shade works on any skin tone, from pale to deep. Apply all over for glowing skin or layer on areas you want to highlight for more of a strobed effect.

This product is one I would like to practice more with, but so far I'm in a love/hate relationship. I always feel the pressure to love a UD product because they're been one of my favorite brands for the longest time now, but this product has a certain glow that's too much for somebody who's extremely ghostly pale. This illuminating powder has a very low-opacity beige tone to it - creating a sheer brown-ish glisten to my face. Of course, that was with applying it all over, and I'm hoping to use it to pop my highlight.

Make perfecting your complexion and transcendental experience with Urban Decay's new Liquid Aura, an illuminating mix-in medium. For all-over brighting, mix one drop with Naked Skin Liquid Makeup or Naked Skin One & Done, then apply as usual. Or, for even more glowing skin, apply on top of foundation to highlight.

The Liquid Aura has become my 3rd favorite product in this blog post, and you'll read why soon. You have not seen life until you top your highlight with this sucker. I was channeling our extraterrestrial neighbors popping this on top of the pearl highlight shade from the Naked Skin Shapeshifter. Try it, see for yourself.

The Velvetizer helps for an extra blown-our finish. Mix a dime-sized amount of this translucent mix in medium into Naked Skin Liquid Makeup or Naked Skin One & Done to create an extra velvety feel, a beautiful matte finish and added coverage. The Velvetizer even doubles as a finishing powder when used alone, setting your makeup for a flawless finish.

The Velvetizer is the reason the Liquid Aura is my 3rd favorite product in this post. This girl loves herself some matte makeup! I doubled this powder mix-in medium for a setting powder, instantly matte-ifying a good days work.

There's neutral, and then there's Naked - the palettes that started it all. And now there's a whole new way to get it on - Go Naked, a limited-edition perfume oil. This sensuous, super-concentrated perfume oil conjures up the scent of sun-warmed skin. Anytime, anywhere.

You do not want to miss this limited-edition item! The smell of lavender, citrus, and sea salt is wonderfully relaxing. When UD makes a limited-edition, they usually stick to it! Grab this as soon as it's out and savor the naked goodness.

GLAMBOT REVIEW, EXPERIENCE, AND SCAM

Today I'm bringing you a completely honest review of the website Glambot. I put off on writing this article for so long because I thought those who ran the website would fix the way they work, but I'm fed up with it by now. For those of you who do not know what Glambot is, it is a website that resells used makeup at "discounted" prices. I state discounted in quotations because with this makeup being used - some of it COMPLETELY used - they only discount it a few dollars from retail price. I have read complaints about products being molded, giving infections, and even people not getting the products they've ordered.

Not only does Glambot sell used makeup, but they as well buy makeup from those who send in products. Glambot claims that you can send in a box of 20 or more items from brands like Kylie Cosmetics, Kat Von D, Urban Decay, and more high in brands. Despite saying you can make a good amount from your used or even brand new makeup - they hardly offer anything. Many complaints as well mention that the company tends to take the products and not give money at all.

After watching a couple reviews on sellers experience to Glambot and as well looking up more on the company through Google - it's safe to say to STAY AWAY. YouTube videos show people sending in brand new unopened products from companies like MAC, Urban Decay, etc.. and only getting offered $60 for all 20 pieces of makeup they sent in! On a website named SiteJabber, you can clearly read the distressed reviews from multiple people complaining of being scammed from both selling and buying through Glambot. I as well decided to look at the Better Business Bureau for their take on Glambot - and although the website is not accredited the system gave Glambot a whopping D rating (1.77 of of 5 stars).

Just by typing in Glambot to YouTube the first videos that pop up are real customers and sellers honest reviews - and TONS of sponsored reviews. If you dig past all the sponsored YouTubers who's either been paid or gotten free products, you'll find numerous videos complaining about how badly they were scammed and treated by Glambot. Below are just the top videos when searching Glambot on YouTube and the second screenshot is of their FameBit ad offering MONEY and free makeup to big YouTube and Instagram accounts.

MY EXPERIENCE

Within reading others reviews for this website, I have personal experience with it as well. I've been both a customer as well as being sponsored at one time as well.

My buying experience. I ordered a Kat Von D product and ended up being sent a It Cosmetics brow pencil that was so dry it'd be competition for the Sahara desert. I opened a claim for this through PayPal as well as returning the item with tracking and a required signature.. I made sure that the box had to be signed for - but since nobody at Glambot wanted to sign for the box it couldn't be delivered. USPS held it for their maximum of 30 days which then it just got sent right back to me where I instantly trashed it.

My sponsorship experience was a HASSLE. I saw an ad on FameBit where Glambot was looking for reviews and they were sending out samples to bloggers for posts. Myself being a makeup lover agreed to doing a review for Glambot. A week later I got a box in the mail from the website, but opened it to find nothing but a dirty card that states they they clean their products. There was no makeup in the box, zip, zero. I messaged them on FameBit telling them about the box and they kept telling me to check my Instagram DMs when I had absolutely NO DMS. They messaged again asking me to check - again nothing. Then this company started commenting on my Instagram account telling me to check my DMS, so I commented back telling them to resend any DMS they sent me. Days pass, and 2 weeks later they comment to me again to check my DMS. I HAVE NOTHING FROM GLAMBOT. This kept happening until I finally blocked Glambot. Here's some of the FameBit messages below.

My advice to others - DO NOT TRUST GLAMBOT. There is plenty key points that scream AVOID!

  • D rating on the BBB
  • Not replying to the BBB on claims
  • 1 star rating on SiteJabber
  • Sending out wrong items
  • Sending out dirty items
  • Stealing makeup that's sent in and offering nothing
  • Stealing makeup that's sent in and offering barely anything
  • Immense amount of YouTube videos that are negative experiences
  • Most if not ALL positive reviews are from sponsored and affiliated influencers
  • Not applying FTC law to the influencers sponsored (not having them state their video/post was sponsored
  • Deleting negative comments off their social media accounts
  • Products giving infections
  • Products having mold
  • Products being dried out
  • Selling used products at only a dollar discount.
